After a church-wide vote of 335 confirmed members, we are excited to announce that 99.7% of the vote affirmed Dr. Dave Tilma as the new Lead Pastor of Blackhawk Ministries!
A MESSAGE FROM OUR ELDERS
Thank you for your vote of affirmation. For more than 50 years, God has blessed Blackhawk Ministries and today He has blessed us again.
As Elders, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Dave Tilma as our new lead pastor and excited to begin working with him, as God shapes the next season of life here at Blackhawk. As you may know, Dave’s oldest daughter is a high school senior and so the Tilma family transition to Fort Wayne will take place in stages over the next couple of months. This week, we will begin working with Dave to craft an exact plan for his onboarding into the role of lead pastor, and I will be communicating that plan to all of you, in the near future.
Thank you for an incredible morning! It was a joy to worship our Lord with all of you in such a sweet family service. Please join the Elders as we pray for Dave, the Blackhawk Ministries staff, and the next chapter of our Blackhawk story. We will continue to be a place that declares the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior, and points to Him in all we do!

Today we celebrate a tremendous moment in the story of Blackhawk Ministries. As we look forward to what God has in store for us over the next few months and years together, we are asking for prayer! Be in prayer for our church as we transition to this next chapter. Be in prayer for Pastor Dave and his family as they relocate to Fort Wayne. Be in prayer that God will continue to use our elders and staff team to unite all generations to go make disciples of Jesus!
