The COLOR may have washed out… but the memories will last forever!!

Hello Blackhawk!

This is Pastor Weaz and I just have to celebrate what our good Lord did this past Wednesday night at The Movement!

We always launch into a new ministry year with an event that I call the “Color War & Slip & Slide Party”.  We held our 5th one this past week and it was an absolute success!
We had 186 people join us for the 2 hour gathering and we worship, ate, played, threw 250 lbs of color powder at one another and then slid down two 100 ft slip & slides with 40 inflatable rafts.
It was a great time of fellowship and community and it was so good to see high school students laughing and smiling and just having a blast being a teenager. I spoke the name of Jesus and invited them to plug into The Movement this year.
We gather each Wednesday night from 6-8 and we have free dinner, worship, games, a time where I teach and then small groups to end the evening. We have about 80-90 students on average and I would say about 20% of those are non BCS students which I love.
If you have or know of a high school student in our city that needs a safe community, please share about The Movement with them. We are not perfect but we love all who come and we have a place for any HS student to join us!
Below are just a few pictures and a video from the Color War party and also a link to our schedule for the year.
Blessings, Pastor Weaz
