The GLOW Easter Egg Hunt was SO much fun!
A few years ago, we had an idea to have a massive glow-in-the-dark egg hunt for our community, but COVID happened, and we had to cancel it. It slowed us down for a few years, but not forever…
On Saturday, it FINALLY happened!

THINGS TO CELEBRATE:
- 70 joy-filled amazing volunteers who jumped into their HOT pink shirts and loved on our guests in such a beautiful way and many more helped prep weeks before the event.
- Over 900 people pre-registered to attend. We lost count of how many came! It was a full house!
- 10,000 Easter eggs filled with candy and treats
- 1000 hot dogs, chips, and waters
- LOTS of smiles 🙂
What a day!
There were so many things to do! You could take pictures with Daisy Duck, bounce in the bouncy houses, play in the courtyard, eat a free lunch, pet live bunnies, take a photo at our photo booth, and not to mention… the main event…. the glow in the dark egg hunt!

THANK YOU, Volunteers!!!
We couldn’t and wouldn’t have wanted to do this type of big event without each and every single one you! You all know how to show up and love on our community! Thank you for loving our Blackhawk Kids and our community in this spectacular way!
