NEW CASTLE – It took a pair of overtimes, but Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian is the 2020 Raymond James Hall of Fame Classic champions.

Class 2A top-ranked Blackhawk saw an 11-point lead slip away in the final four minutes of regulation, then pulled away for a 66-59 victory over 2A No. 5 Shenandoah on Wednesday night in the Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle Fieldhouse.

Purdue recruit Caleb Furst, the tournament’s most valuable player, finished with 20 points and 17 rebounds after a slow start. Blackhawk coach Marc Davidson sat the 6-10 Furst the final four minutes of the first half.
