137 High School Students arrive at Blackhawk… now what?!

Add some color powder, a Kona ice truck, more color powder (a LOT more), add some bacon, smoothie and unicorn inflatables, two 100 foot slip n slides, and 137 high school students…

TONS of smiles and laughter, connections and memories made! You can’t help but smile yourself as you look through the pics of our Student Ministry’s 3rd Annual Color War. Last night was a beautiful night without a cloud in the sky, as nearly 140 high school students from the Fort Wayne area descended on our Blackhawk Ministries campus. Take a look…

WOW!! What a phenomenal night we all had!!
We had over 137 HS students show up for Color Wars 2020!! We has students from Snider, Homestead, Concordia, Northrop, North Side, Leo, New Haven, Woodlan, Online and Homeschool and Blackhawk Christian. Anyone in HS is invited!!
It was so great to see our beloved students laughing and enjoying life together in this season. They needed a win and this was it.

If you missed the Color War, no worries! You can catch The Movement (our Blackhawk Student Ministry) every Wednesday night, 6:30–8 PM in the North Campus Chapel (located in the Intermediate BCS building). We also gather together every Sunday morning, 9–10 AM.

Each Wednesday throughout the school year, we’ll continue making those connections and memories; we’ll hang out together, hear a message from Pastor Weaz, and connect in small groups (separated by age & gender). Our small groups will be lead by a team of nearly 2 dozen amazing adult leaders who you may have seen last night… covered in color powder or deflating the slip n slide floats! So thankful for an amazing Student Ministry team!

So spread the word. Send your HS students. Have them bring a friend. Carpool and get them here. They will be loved and led well here at Blackhawk!!
